To reach the Sealife centre from the Grand Paddington Court London, just head to the Tube station located nearby and hop on the Circle line. This will have you at the aquarium in just under 20 minutes.

To reach the O2 Areana from the Grand Paddington Court London, take the Tube from Paddington station and use the Circle and Jubilee lines. Expect to arrive at the O2 in less than half an hour.

Movie madness galore is what’s on offer at the DreamWorks Shrek’s Adventure Tour, and children of all ages are sure to enjoy a magical visit to this top London attraction. Star in your own family movie, meet Shrek and the cast and board a flying 4D bus to Far Far Away before bumping into Puss in Boots and Cinderella during this interactive family experience.

One of the best things about this activity is that you book a particular time slot that limits the number of people that will be at the venue at the same time, so its’ far less crowded than you’d expect. This also means the little ones get the chance to get up close to their favourite characters without having to worry about queues of people.

To reach Shrek’s Adventure Tour from our Park Grand London hotels, you’ll need to head over the river Thames via Tube, so take the Bakerloo line, and you’ll be outside the Dreamworks studio in less than 20 minutes.

Horse riding in Hyde Park

If a little fresh air is in order, why not head out of the Grand Paddington Court London and try a little horse riding in the beautifully maintained Hyde Park nearby?

There are a few companies that provide horse riding lessons in this beautiful park for all ages and abilities, so it’s a good way of enjoying the comfortable late summer temperatures and getting a little exercise as a family.

Once you’ve waved goodbye to your equine companion, the nearby Princess Diana memorial garden is located just a few minutes away from the centre of the park and has its own children’s play area. Let the kids burn off a little excess energy on the giant pirate’s ship, or paddle in the beautiful river styled fountain that runs through the area while the grown-ups take a few moments to breathe in the peace and quiet surrounding this beautiful green space set in the heart of the city.
