Visiting London can be an exciting treat for all the family. From heading to the green outdoor spaces, and of course passing by the myriad of attractions, kids just love the city’s hustle and bustle. But with so much to see and do, as a parent it can be difficult to plan ahead. But we’re here to help. We’ve got a wealth of experience in London and helping families plan their days out. And thanks to being one of the hotels near Lancaster Gate Tube Station, we’re also centrally-located to suit all families’ needs.

KidZania

A treat for everyone, KidZania is a safe place for kids to have a go at being a grown up. Providing them with the opportunity to try their hand a number of careers in exchange for money (monopoly money of course), they can become a firefighter, doctor, actor, radio presenter, pilot, or undertake any of the other amazing careers on offer.

Taking around four hours to get through the whole thing, it really is an amazing experience for kids and adult alike.

Tower of London

London

One of the most popular tourist attractions, the Tower of London is great for kids as it’ll keep their excitement levels up from start to finish. Opening up their world, they’ll find out what life was like hundreds of years ago, see some artefacts from royals long gone, and of course, see the crown jewels up close.

The whole tour could take up to half a day – depending on how fast you walk around. Prices are very pocket friendly per person, so it’s best to ensure they’re interested before booking.

Royal Air Force Museum

One for lovers of planes, The Royal Air Force Museum is home to hundreds of aircrafts from every era. Bold and on display, those who love all things aeroplanes will be left in awe, learning all about planes from decades gone by.

The ideal place to entertain the kids for a few hours, it’s free to enter for everyone!

The Changing of the Guard

Depending on your kid, they may not be interested. However if they love everything London stands for, then we bet they’ll love experiencing this one. A national tradition, the Changing of the Guard provides light entertainment for a few minutes.

Taking place every day, it’s free and entertaining if they’ve never seen it before.

London Eye

London Eye

The London Eye is one of the most famous landmarks in the city. The giant Ferris wheel offers up tremendous views from all angles. Perfect on a bright sunny day, as well as above the twinkles of the streetlights at night, it takes around 30 minutes to go all the way around. Ideal for a pre-dinner treat, kids will love soaring above the skyline and pointing out all the landmarks!

Tickets are available at nominal price for adults, kids aged 4 to 15, and for family.

London Zoo

London Zoo

A popular city attraction, London Zoo lies in Regent’s Park. Full of some of the cutest and most dangerous animals in the world, habitats at the Zoo include the Tiger Territory, Land of the Lions, and Gorilla Kingdom. For Harry Potter fans, the Reptile House will also bring back memories. But there’s no magic of that sort here – it’s all safe for both visitors and the animals. There are, of course a lot more parts to the Zoo, but you’ll have to visit it and see for yourself.

Standard tickets are nominal for adults, kids aged 3 to 15, and for a family when bought online.
