Is there anything better than delicious street food? London is home to some incredible markets and stalls, offering street food from around the globe to tempt your taste buds whether you’re an authentic globe trotter or travel through food alone. When staying at The Piccadilly London West End, you can expect to be centrally located and perfectly placed to enjoy all of the great street food London’s many markets and stalls have to offer.
This list wouldn’t be complete without mention of Camden and the renowned Kerb market. Here you’ll find street food vendors from across the globe – there’s Tandoori chicken from India, sausages from Poland, and everything in between. You’ll be spoilt for choice, and it’s easy to get lost for hours in the winding lanes of Camden’s market. You can find Kerb in the same place every day of the week, 11am-6pm from Monday through to Thursday and 11am-7pm Friday to Sunday.
Close to Greenwich’s numerous attractions, the Greenwich Market is a convenient place to find your new favourite dish. There’s street food on offer from all four corners of the globe – whether you want to indulge in something calorific or stick to a healthy salad.
Located at the The Old Truman Brewery, Ely’s Yard is a spectacular place to try out new street food – whether you want grilled Argentinian steak sandwiches, vegan delicacies, or delicious Pasta dishes. The market is on every day of the week, but we’d recommend visiting on Sundays as there are more stalls that only offer their food on this day.
If you want to try a little bit of everything, Leather Lane is the market for you. There’s a hugely diverse array of street food on offer, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy them in the centre of the city. We highly recommend visiting Leather Lane for yourself at least once, and the market takes place every weekday from 10am-2pm, meaning there’s ample time to get yourself down there!
If you’re vegan, you might think that Mexican cuisine is not for you, but Club Mexicana will make you reconsider this stance. Everything on offer is totally vegan, so you can get an authentic taste of Mexico without the meat – and you won’t be able to tell the difference!
Found at: Kerb Camden and Hawker House
Proving that street food doesn’t always have to be exotic, Mother Clucker offers the finest fried chicken around. You’ll find huge chunks of traditional southern fried chicken topped with mac ‘n’ cheese, which is bound to be a treat for adults and children alike!
Found at: Ely’s Yard, Kerb Camden, and Hawker House
Authentic Korean cuisine meets Mexican burritos at Kimchinary. It’s an unusual mix – but it definitely works! The wonderful wraps are full of flavour, and you won’t find anything else like it anywhere in the world.

No matter your personal taste, at The Piccadilly West End we believe London’s street food scene truly offers something for everyone. The diverse menus are just one of the many things we love about London! Which kind of food would you indulge in first?
